Preliminary 2024 Figures Show Maffei & Co. Operationally on Track

In 2024, Maffei & Co. continued to create value in its investments:

Park Your Truck GmbH, Dessau-Roßlau (indirect 50.5%)In 2024, Park Your Truck recorded revenue of €12.2 million (previous year: €14.5 million), reflecting delays in the conclusion of new space contracts. These contracts have since been completed, putting the company back on track for growth in 2025, with numerous new agreements signed. Earnings before taxes decreased to approximately €1.2 million (previous year: €1.6 million), including extraordinary expenses of around €0.6 million for the construction of charging stations.

Following strong growth in recent years, 2024 was a year of internal consolidation to prepare for further expansion. Key initiatives included new parking spaces, the digital reservation system, and the installation of additional charging stations. The first Charge Your Truck parking lot with charging facilities for electric trucks was opened, and another 25 locations are currently in planning or implementation. Services related to the installation and operation of car and last-mile charging stations were consolidated under the new Charge+ brand. Additionally, around 70 contracts were signed with institutions such as hospitals and universities to install charging infrastructure on their premises. The reservation and booking system, covering more than 130 publicly accessible truck parking spaces across Germany, the UK, France, and Italy, was fully redesigned in 2024 to include route planning and additional user features.

Terraplan GmbH, Munich (35.9%) Its most important holding Meine Welt Reisen GmbH, Leipzig (51.0%), more than doubled its revenue to approximately €3.2 million (previous year: €1.2 million), achieving a slightly positive result for the first time. Based on the current trend in booking figures, sustained positive development is expected in the coming years. Further acquisition opportunities are under consideration.
